Contracting owners’ desire was to benefit fully of their terrace, to enlarge their kitchen, to elevate the ceiling in order to live and to breathe freely in a pleasant environment. The same utilities had to be maintained: a kitchen, a dining room and a laundry room. To create views to the garden, the laundry room had to be placed at the rear. The kitchen and the dining room have been combined in a single and spacious room. Furthermore, placed along its side, the kitchen furniture and the numerous lockers (needed in small spaces) are now hiding the staircase. A full-length glass roof overhangs the building.
